【ヒートウェーブ】熱波襲来の欧米で気温さらに上昇中…WMOは死亡リスク増と警鐘

［フェニックス　１８日　ロイター］ – 異常な熱波に見舞われている欧米各地では１８日に気温が一段と上昇し、世界気象機関（ＷＭＯ）が超高温による死亡リスクが高まっていると警鐘を鳴らしている。

アリゾナ州フェニックスは１９日連続で日中の最高気温が摂氏４３度を超え、従来の最長記録だった１８日連続を上回った。さらにこの日の最高気温は４７度を記録。地元気象当局の担当者は、少なくともあと５―７日間は地域一帯で４０度台後半の高温が続くとの見通しを示した。
