【異常気象】イギリスが猛暑で「非常事態宣言」…週明けに一部で記録的高温の可能性

[ロンドン １５日 ロイター] – 英気象庁は１５日、記録的な高温に達する可能性があるとして、１８日と１９日にイングランドの一部に赤色の「猛暑」警報を発し、国家非常事態を宣言した。

「国民やインフラに広く影響を及ぼす可能性がある」としている。

英国内での過去最高気温は、２０１９年７月２５日にケンブリッジ大学植物園で記録された摂氏３８.７度。

気象庁のウェブサイトによると、赤色（レベル４）警報は、高リスク集団だけでなく、健康な人でも病気にかかったり、死亡したりする可能性がある水準と定義されている。
